Amanda Ratushny, MA created Emerge Governance after completing her 2 consecutive terms on The Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton, Florida Board of Directors in 2026. During her 6 year term on the Board, including 1 year as Vice President and her 2 years as President, she effectively used her business and educational experience to introduce a more modern approach to governance. Her expertise in effective communications, personal relationship building, strategic planning as well as her unique demographic as a younger female in a traditionally male dominated field has evoked tangible results for not only the Board during her tenure, but for the future Boards of Woodfield. Amanda brings a rare combination of strategic insight, practical governance experience, and a deep understanding of how private residential country clubs truly operate. Currently an active member of three unique Clubs, her ability to combine member satisfaction and proper governance has been very well received in the industry, more specifically, the highly dense club area of South Florida. She approaches governance not as a theoretical exercise, but as a living framework that must balance fiduciary responsibility, member expectations, and long-term vision.

Amanda is known for her ability to bring clarity to complex board dynamics. She helps boards move beyond reactive decision-making by establishing clear roles, effective policies, and disciplined processes that support transparency and accountability. Her calm, structured approach fosters trust among board members, management, and the broader community—an essential element for successful governance. She has not only developed a cohesive Board of Directors, but she has strategically enhanced the relationships with other entities inside this Platinum Level Residential Club such as the Homeowner’s Association and the Management Staff.

With a modern, solutions-oriented mindset, Amanda partners closely with boards to strengthen leadership alignment, improve communication, and guide thoughtful change. She understands the unique culture, politics, and sensitivities of private clubs and provides counsel that is both strategic and respectful of tradition. Boards that work with Amanda gain a trusted advisor who elevates governance, strengthens confidence, and helps position their organization for long-term stability and success.
